Morning Grace
It’s a young mom, I was NOT a morning person. At. All. I loved to stay up into the wee hours of the morning, I loved the silence of my home during those hours when I was the only one awake. I loved the solitude of knowing my family was safely tucked into their beds above me and I was free from being at the beck and call of their needs.
But, every great once in a while, I would drag myself out of my warm, comfy bed, and force myself out of the house early enough to see the sunrise. Morning Grace was taken on one of those early mornings as I drove through the countryside. The sunrise was so breathtaking that I had to pull over, take a side trip up a driveway overlooking the valley, and pull out my camera.
The quote is the result of my conversation with God on that cold spring morning as He delighted me with His fresh painting in the sky. Just as He paints us a new sunrise each morning, so His grace is renewed with every dawn.
